The talent pool

High-skilled professionals, ready for U.S. companies.

Brigham Talent has exclusive access to students and graduates of BYU-Pathway Worldwide, BYU-Idaho, and BYU in Provo - degree-qualified professionals with U.S.-accredited credentials who studied and were assessed in English.

Why it matters

A U.S.-accredited degree is a signal you can actually use.

Most remote-hiring risk comes down to one question: will this person communicate well enough to work inside my team? A U.S.-accredited education answers a good part of that before the first interview.

These candidates spent years writing, presenting, and being graded to a U.S. academic standard, in English. They have worked to American deadlines and American expectations about what a finished piece of work looks like.

It is not a substitute for screening - we still interview every candidate ourselves - but it means the pool we start from is stronger than a general job-board search.

  • Studied in EnglishCoursework, assessment, and presentation, not just conversational ability.
  • U.S.-accredited credentialsDegrees and certificates recognised by U.S. accrediting bodies.
  • Familiar with U.S. normsDeadlines, directness, and written follow-up are already the default.
  • Time-zone compatibleMuch of Latin America sits within one to three hours of U.S. time zones.
  • Motivated to stayThese are careers, not gigs. Candidates are looking for a role they can grow in.

Questions

About our candidates

What is BYU-Pathway Worldwide?

BYU-Pathway Worldwide is an online education programme that delivers U.S.-accredited certificates and degrees to students around the world, taught and assessed in English. Its graduates across Latin America are a core part of the pool we recruit from.

Is Brigham Talent affiliated with BYU or any religious organization?

No. Brigham Talent is an independent, privately owned remote staffing company. We recruit professionals who earned their credentials at those institutions; that is the extent of the relationship.

Do I have to hire someone from these schools?

No. That pool is where our sourcing is strongest, but the search is driven by your requirements. If the best candidate for your role studied somewhere else, that is who we present.

How good is their English, really?

These candidates completed coursework, written assignments, and assessments in English, and we verify it directly in a screening interview rather than taking a self-reported level from a form. You will hear it for yourself in the first interview.

Can they work my hours?

Yes. Most of the pool sits within one to three hours of U.S. time zones, so a full working-day overlap is realistic rather than aspirational. We confirm each candidate’s available hours during screening.

Is this outsourcing?

No. The person joins your team, works your hours, uses your systems, and is managed by you like any other hire. We are not a call centre and we do not manage the work.
